The recent renovation provided a clean and pleasant space, complemented by a large flat-screen TV and effective soundproofing. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring a well-cooked English option and a wide selection of fresh fruit. the room on the top floor tended to get uncomfortably hot without a fan, and the curtain did not block morning light effectively. The bathroom was conveniently located across the corridor, which was slight inconvenience but manageable.

I loved that the breakfast included gluten-free bread and I could order a traditional Scottish breakfast. There were cozy sitting areas to relax and unwind with a cup of tea. The only drawback was the bedding could use an update, but I still had a wonderful time! 😊

The room was cozy and so clean, felt like home. The host was very friendly, gave lots of good tips on where to eat, even packed a breakfast option for me on my early flight – that’s service you don’t see everyday.
It ain't exactly cheap, but still pretty reasonable for what you get.

During our stay, we loved exploring Edinburgh's attractions, especially the nearby museums. The room was clean and comfortable, perfect for our large family. The breakfast options were plentiful, keeping everyone satisfied before we set out for our adventures.
In my wife’s opinion, the bathroom arrangements could be improved for families with children.

the owners were super friendly and kept in touch before we arrived. the room was quite comfy and clean. breakfast was good, loved the fresh smell in the house. easy to come and go with the security code. location was not too far from the city center and had good bus access.
the bathroom was a bit outdated and could use some fixing up. also, would have liked a better selection of teas in the room.

great base for exploring parks and landmarks in the city
I had a fantastic stay with comfy beds and an excellent breakfast served by a lovely family, making it an ideal spot for any single traveler like me who enjoys quick access to nearby parks and landmarks like Arthur's Seat and the stunning views from Calton Hill, but it can be a bit of a trek to the core of the city, so plan your route accordingly.
